“You will stay home Forever” –
That was my promise to my mother who was diagnosed with Parkinson disease and deteriorated over a 4 year period from being a healthy unstoppable woman to a person that could no longer walk, talk, eat or drink. Yet her mind was sharp until 2 days before her body gave up on her. All she wanted was to be surrounded by her children and grandchildren and await the birth of her first great grandchild before she closed her eyes and took her last breath. As a family we take solace in knowing we gave her what she wanted and she was at peace in her own home. I sponsored a full time live-in caregiver for my mom. She was a gift to our whole family. She looked after every want and need with the most amount of kindness and compassion. Because of this, I was able to spend my time enjoying every moment and creating more memories that my family and I can share.
Inspired by my mom’s courage, kindness, bravery and beautiful smile, amidst all of her suffering, Stay Home Forever Inc., was created. We want seniors just like herself to have their dream of living at home comfortably and safely as long as they wish to.
We are truly a safe space for seniors. It is our intention to create a comfortable space so seniors may enjoy a stress-free life knowing there is always someone available to assist with decisions and solutions in all aspects of life. We are just a phone call away. We are your partners in life.

Having looked after her mother in her home during her last 10 years, she is passionate about providing seniors the care and companionship they deserve whether it is just for an hour or 24/7 and provide the children of the seniors a chance to enjoy their parents rather than be primary caregivers. She understands first-hand the struggles, the frustrations and having to make hard decisions, including selling her home and moving to a place where her mom’s disabilities could be accommodated. “ There was no one company or person that could advise me on how to prepare my home when my mom came back from hospital, what financial aid was available, what care I needed, what resources I could tap into. Everyone gave me bits and pieces of information and that was not helpful at all. I want families to be assured that Stay Home Forever, IS truly a one stop place for all the answers”
